A bit of time has passed since the hubbub of activity that was going on in our Strait Area when the Panuke N-79 production platform was brought into the area by the heavy lift vessel Talisman and offloaded at Pirate Harbour  and taken to the Strait Superport Dock at Mulgrave for some refitting.I've uploaded a photo here I took as it was being towed out to its work area.Took this shot from Redhead on the Guysborough County side of Chedabucto Bay..The flotilla is just passing the harbour entrance at Arichat and the local landmark  L'Assomption  R.C.church is quite visible.Hopefully we'll see more of this economic activity again in the near future.
