Tugs tankers and bulkers.

A somewhat busy day(May 8th) in our waters kept the pilot vessel Strait Falcon delivering pilots to incoming vessels. The
tanker Silver Lining was headed to Nustar Berth 2 with APA pilot Capt. Scott MacDonald on the bridge. He had the tugs Svitzer Bedford and Point Chebucto tasked to help in the berthing ,Superport Marine Services lines boats Wikit and Strait Rider towed lines
.The bulk carrier Mineral Stonehenge was next in with APA Capt. Chuck MacDonald taking it to India Anchorage in Inhabitants Bay for its CFIA inspection before proceeding up the St. Lawrence..
As the Mineral Stonehenge sailed past Eddy Pt. the brand new Superport Marine Services tug Strait Raven  was photographed headed to port Hawkesbury with its tow the barge SPM 125.
The tug Tony MacKay entered Canso Lock around 1600h from the north with Capt. William Stoodley in command. The vessel is presently docked at Mulgrave and I expect will depart with the barge Labradoer Spirit.
